Open the workspace control
Click the name of the workspace you are in, wherever you are in the dashboard.
It opens the workspaces you belong to.

Choose New workspace
It sits below the workspaces you already have. Choosing it swaps the list for a
small form in place, and puts you straight into the name field.

Name it
The form has one field: Name. There is no second field, nothing to invite
and nothing to configure. You can rename a workspace later; this step is only
about opening it.

Create it
The button reads Create workspace, and Creating while the request is in
flight. On success you do not have to do anything else: see

The name
A workspace name has to trim to somewhere between 1 and 40 characters. A name outside that is refused:A workspace name is 1 to 40 characters.It also has to be different from every workspace you already belong to, ignoring case. This is checked against your own workspaces, not against every workspace on the platform, so two different customers can each open a workspace with the same name. A duplicate against one of yours is refused:
You are already in a workspace with that name.If either refusal happens, what you typed stays in the box. The fix is editing the name, not retyping it from scratch.
What happens next
You become the new workspace’s owner, in the same step that creates it. The form tells you this before you press the button:A new workspace has its own balance starting at zero, its own keys and its own members, and you will be its owner.There is no separate step to switch into it. You land inside the new workspace right away, on its Usage screen, with nothing to reload and no second click. It starts from nothing. Its balance is zero, and it shares no credit with a workspace you already had. Its member list holds only you, and it holds no keys until you or somebody else creates one. See Create an API key and Invite and manage members. Being the owner is what lets you buy credit for it in the first place: only an owner can buy credit, manage the card, or pause requests. How many you can have
There is no limit on how many workspaces you can create, own, or belong to. Each one is separate: its own name, its own members, its own keys, and its own balance.What we did not verify
